Project Background

The Beryl Solar Farm is a 110 MW project located approximately five kilometers west of Gulgong, NSW, Australia. Developed by First Solar, it consists of 44,175 Piles 8,835 Exosun Trackers and 309,000 PV modules. The project has a 15 year PPA with Sydney Metro and is used to meet operational electricity needs of the Sydney Metro Northwest rail link. Beryl Solar Farm is expected to produce energy to run approximately 25,000 average NSW homes, displacing more than 167,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
