Project Background
On April 6, 2020, construction commenced at the 25-megawatt (MWac) Appling Solar Farm in Appling County, Georgia. The project officially began generating power in December 2020 and is part of the portfolio of projects that provides 100% renewable energy to Facebook’s Newton Data Center.
