Project Background
Ulteig has designed and engineered one of Tennessee’s largest solar power centers near a small farming town in the southern part of the state. Located on more than 1,700 acres along the Tennessee-Alabama border, the 150 MW AC solar farm connects to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) electrical grid. Through a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA), TVA provides the majority of the solar energy to Meta, which built a $750 million data center in nearby Huntsville, Alabama.
