BLA Disconnect Box Series

The BLA® system is an aboveground aluminium trunk bus system that combines the functionality of cable assemblies, combiner boxes, and fusing all into one. This free air de-rated system eliminates the need for standard combiner boxes, messy multiple conductor string wires, cable trays, trenching, and field crimping. 

Lab-proven under full load during static heating sequence testing, the BLA Disconnect is designed for maximum durability and years of uninterrupted, real-world service. Field installation time has been slashed, space for cable terminations generously increased, and O & M torque points reduced by up to 63%.

The East Line Solar Plant, a 100-megawatt (MW) facility located in Coolidge, Arizona, was developed by sPower and began operations in December 2020. Spanning 851 acres, it comprises nearly 1 million solar panels mounted on single-axis tracking systems to optimize energy production. The plant generates approximately 277,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity annually, enough to power about 35,000 homes, and offsets nearly 200,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions — the equivalent of removing 41,000 cars from roadways
